What's The Brand?
This project involves creating a logo design for a freelance computer technician. This logo is mainly used on the platform Gumtree (British-based online classified advertisement and community).
The service offers re-purposing old laptops (enhancing speed and performance) and desktop computers for a fraction of the cost of new ones, reducing e-wastes. It also provides disk space cleaning, hard drive optimization, malware removal, debloating Windows, data backup, secure deletion, and Windows 11 installation.
Design Response
The purpose of my logo design is to help this technician stand out from other such freelancers on the site and appear as an established brand. He needed a logo that has a clean and modern aesthetic. The logo is supposed to depict his job as a technician.
Logo Design Options
The action of enhancing the performance of old and dysfunctional computers has been depicted in the majority of the logo designs. One of these logos has a mascot of a geeky looking mascot with wings. The mascot portrays the technician as a superhero who can fix anything. A superhero who comes to the aid when someones computer breaks down and when he/she can't afford a new one.

This logo has been chosen as my client felt it is more memorable and fits the brand's goal. It does depict (in a humorous manner) the service of making dysfunctional computers to run more effectively.
Various logo variations have been planned out in case my client plans to use it on other sorts of compositions.
