Brief Summary
This project contains a few design collaterals inspired by the punk style movement. The design collaterals consist of an A3 poster, a DL flyer, and an A4 brochure for a music festival of mixed genres.
The design collaterals are inspired by the punk style movement. Punk arose as a reaction to Modernism's severe constraints, and its aesthetic defied Swiss simplicity and neutral sans serif font. Society fought against the mainstream and sought change when conventional ideas became outmoded.
Punk style has been incorporated into this design by using rough textures, torn pieces of paper with messy shapes in the background, and by creating a slightly messy and chaotic aesthetic.
Since the genes of this event are a mix of rock and pop music, I tried to give a feel of both.
The brick wall gives it a feel of rock and the warm tones of blue and purple give it a feel of pop music.
