The Red Bull can is an iconic symbol of energy and youth culture. However, I felt that the original design, while sleek, didn't fully capture the exhilarating experience of consuming the product. My goal was to create a design that not only reflected the brand's core values but also resonated with the target demographic of 18-24 year olds.
To achieve this, I embraced the modern psychedelic design aesthetic, known for its vibrant colors, dynamic patterns, and immersive qualities. This style perfectly aligns with the euphoric and energetic sensations associated with Red Bull. By incorporating bold, contrasting colors and, dynamic pattern, I aimed to create a visually stimulating and captivating design.
To further enhance the advert design's impact, I incorporated real people into the composition. This approach was intended to foster a sense of relatability and authenticity. By showcasing individuals enjoying the Red Bull experience, I hoped to create a connection with the target audience. To reinforce the brand's iconic slogan, "Red Bull gives you wings," I subtly integrated wing imagery behind the human subjects, symbolizing the energy and euphoria associated with the product.
This redesign challenges the traditional approach to energy drink packaging by offering a fresh, innovative perspective. It is my hope that this project demonstrates my ability to create visually compelling and impactful designs that resonate with a specific target audience.
